What's my VCAT reference number?

We give each case a reference number. Use this reference number whenever you contact us or the other people involved in the case.

What’s a counterclaim?

If you have your own claim against the applicant, you can submit an application with VCAT. This is called a counterclaim. 

What is the Administrator Reference Number?

The Administrator Reference Number is a 16-digit number we assign to your ABA. You need to enter this number at the start of the ABA form.

We can’t give you legal advice, but there are other organisations you can speak to about your dispute. 

What is the accounting period for the ABA?

Usually this is the previous financial year, 1 July to 30 June.
