Administrator information sessions
If you've recently been appointed as an administrator and have questions about your role, come to one of our free information sessions held throughout the year.
RSVP essential if you have not been invited directly by us.

What sessions cover
The sessions are designed to help administrators understand their role and responsibilities. We cannot discuss individual cases or give legal advice.
Topics covered include:
- responsibilities of an administrator
- understanding your VCAT order
- what to do if a bank, utility provider or other organisation won't recognise your authority to act
- reporting requirements
- preparing a Financial Statement and Plan (FSP)
- lodging an Account by Administrator (ABA)
- changes in circumstances
- fees, gifts and loans
- acting jointly and severally with other administrators.
Each session allows time for questions and answers.

All session run from 4 pm to 5 pm on the following dates:

- Wednesday 5 August 2026
- Thursday 27 August 2026
- Wednesday 16 September 2026
- Thursday 15 October 2026
- Wednesday 11 November 2026
- Thursday 3 December 2026.

All sessions are held online via Microsoft Teams.
