  • Implementing our new divisional structure, which includes phasing out any references to ‘lists’.
  • Rolling out our refreshed brand in our portal and website.

Achievements

Our recent service improvements include:

  • Bringing together our CBD teams and opening our new venue at 308 La Trobe Street.
  • Introducing our new divisional structure.
  • Establishing Rental Dispute Resolution Victoria (RDRV) as an appropriate dispute resolution service for disputes between renters and rental providers.

  • In February, we began operating under a new structure.

Our new structure reshapes our organisation to:

    • create clearer ways of working
    • increase efficiency and reduce wasted effort
    • improve the experience of service users.

We also launched new applications into our portal, myVCAT.

We launched the ability for rental providers to create 90 day notices to vacate and submit an application for possession based on that notice.

For our aged care restrictive practice cases, you can now apply and manage applications about being appointed as a restrictive practices substitute decision-maker, consent to use a restrictive practice, reviewing a nomination, revocation, or appointment.

We also launched our business account feature to help connect applications and cases across an organisation in their myVCAT and myRDRV account.

  • In May, we developed and launched our support guides to help people with residential tenancy cases.

Our support guides are short videos to help people use myVCAT, myRDRV, and our business account feature.
