Accessibility

Our venue has been designed with accessibility in mind. Our hearing and mediation rooms are fully accessible.

Moving within the building

We have an accessible indoor map to help you navigate inside the building. The map is by BindiMaps and is available for free without entering any personal information.

By using the BindiMaps app, you will be able to:

• see what is around
• find where you need to go
• use text and audio mode
• pin your location
• share you location.

Lifts are the only way to access the levels where hearings take place. Our lifts have an entry width of 105 cm. They have a capacity of 24 persons or 1,632 kg.

Braille has been installed around the facility, but please let staff know at either the ground level service counter or reception counters at levels 21 or 22 if you need further assistance.

Some rooms are accessed via a corridor that runs alongside floor-to-ceiling windows with city views. If walking close to the windows presents any difficulty or discomfort, please let a staff member know. We can assist with an alternative route (where available) or arrange to meet you at the lift lobby. There are places available along the corridor if you need to pause or rest.

Assistance animals

Guide Dogs and other registered assistance dogs are welcome. Please ensure they are wearing their jacket, so we know they are an assistance dog.

Assistive listening

We can arrange hearing support for your mediation, compulsory conference or hearing.

We have hearing loop technology at the ground level service counters and Auracast hearing support in all mediation and hearing rooms.

Toilets and Changing Places bathrooms

There are female, male, and accessible toilets on levels 19, 20, 21, and 22.

There are also 2 Changing Places bathrooms on level 22.

Guest Wi-Fi and charging devices

Our venue has guest Wi-Fi, but you must register to use it. Guest access lasts for 24 hours.

There are charging outlets on each floor for portable devices like laptops and powered wheelchairs.
