2024–25 Annual Report tabled in Parliament

VCAT's Annual Report 2024–25 has been tabled in the Victorian Parliament and is now available to download.

The report highlights our achievements and progress over the last year, as we continue to strengthen access to justice and deliver services that meet the needs of the Victorian community.

Over the past financial year, we have:

• Advanced our digital transformation: expanding the rollout of our digital case management and listing systems to improve timeliness, accessibility and user experience.
• Delivered major operational reforms: streamlining processes, improving service design and embedding efficiencies to help users resolve matters sooner.
• Established Rental Dispute Resolution Victoria to promote fast and fair resolution of rental disputes.
• Progressed on new CBD accommodation: with design and planning work well underway for 308 La Trobe Street, ensuring the new precinct meets VCAT’s future needs.
• Improved user experience across divisions: continuing to act on feedback and provide more options for hearings, including virtual hearings and community-based venues.

The Annual Report also outlines our financial performance and strategic direction as we move into the next phase of our transformation.
